Red Ribbon Celebration
The goal of the Red Ribbon Celebration is to present a unified and visible commitment toward the creation of a drug free environment. This takes place during National Red Ribbon Week in October.

Puppets
In this training program, older students teach younger students about the dangers of tobacco, alcohol, and other drug use through animated skits.

CHAMPS
CHAMPS stands for
Champs Have And Model Positive Peer Skills.  This training program teaches upper elementary students how to make positive lifestyle choices.  CHAMPS students are trained to become the peer leaders for younger students in their schools.

PRIDE
PRIDE is a drug prevention program that trains 8th through 12th grade students to take the lead in drug prevention.  Through motivation performances, PRIDE encourages students to reach out to their peers, younger students and the community with an assertive drug free message.

R.E.A.L. Training

Responsible Educated Adolescent Leaders

Trainer:  Ray Lozano

Drug information made interesting…now there’s a twist.  Ray presents up-to-date facts on alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs in such a fun way that students enjoy learning.  Students participate in large-group activities and learn strategies to teach and help others.  This interactive workshop is completely hands-on where students are given an opportunity to ask questions and draw upon Ray’s years of expertise.  R.E.A.L. is great for student members of drug-free youth groups, peer leadership groups, student government, and youth boards.

Teen Time

Trainer:  Suze Rutherford

This training program teaches 9th grade students the dangers of tobacco, alcohol, and other drug use, as well as communication and behavioral skills, and leadership techniques.

Best Friends, Worst Enemies

Trainer:  Suze Rutherford

Sorry guys, this is strictly girl talk.  Participants will explore cultural differences in the hidden aggression in girls and examine prevention approaches to assist girls in expressing their natural feelings of anger, competition, and jealousy appropriately.  The training environment will emphasize the importance of cooperation, support, relationships and communication in promoting healthy relationships.  Participants will be allowed to discuss specific issues and strategies to positively address them.

Real Men

Trainer:  Chris Becnel

Participants will be introduced to new perspectives on what it means to be male and how to build the relational skills they need to become good men through positive male support and by not shaming boys for who they are.  The training environment will emphasize the importance of cooperation, support, relationships and communication in promoting healthy relationships.  Through true stories and physical activity, the boys will see how others have been shaped and how they can prepare to become Real Men.
