The 4 Pillars of PRIDE

Community Outreach
Through song, dance, speech, and other creative outlets, PRIDE teams around the world spread the message. Reaching out in schools, through civic organizations, participating in community drug task forces, and even through legislation development, community outreach efforts in PRIDE are unlike any other program.

Drug Education
At the core of PRIDE is an emphasis on drug-free living. By teaching about the health risks of using drugs, the effects of illicit drug use, and the cost of drug use on today’s world, PRIDE arms members with the necessary knowledge to understand why they have chosen the drug-free lifestyle.

Community Service
Hundreds of teams volunteer in various ways in their communities. Serving others for betterment of self and community is a key ingredient to healthy living.

Drug-Free Activities
Kids being kids while being drug-free is the goal. Activities can include hundreds of youth, such as activity nights or jam sessions, or be small as a movie night with a half dozen youth.  Statistics prove that keeping youth involved lowers the risk of drug use.
